“Christopher Robin” is a film of emotion and nostalgia. This film was directed by Marc Forster, featuring Jim Cummings as the voice of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and starring Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin.
This movie is filled with very well timed jokes, inspiring messages and well written characters. The cinematography was another part of the movie I really liked. All the shots just felt so natural yet keeping that same Disney feel. All the characters are just as we remember them from the books and the cartoon, including the Heffalumps and Woozles.
The movie follows an adult Christopher Robin who has forgotten the better things in life like family and friends and drowns himself in his work rather than spending time with his daughter. At this point Winnie the Pooh finds Christopher Robin, by accident, and Christopher Robin is forced to bring Pooh back to the countryside.
The story features mainly Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and, of course Christopher Robin as the main cast. With all of these characters together in this movie, it makes for a lovable adventure with big messages. “Christopher Robin” seems to be popular with children and nostalgic adults. I rate this movie a 10/10, perfect score. Christopher Robin is still playing at the Roxy. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly suggest you do.
