Forty years after the first “Halloween” (1978), Michael Myers finds his way back onto the big screen in a big way. After several disappointing sequels and prequels, “Halloween” finally gets a proper conclusion, with reviews going through the roof, compared to previous installments. Starring Jamie Lee Curtis once again as Laurie Strode and written by the talented John Carpenter, “Halloween” (2018) makes for an epic finale to the beloved franchise.
“Halloween” (2018) follows the perspective of Michael Myers and Laurie Strode as Michael escapes from prison to kill yet again. This time Laurie plots to destroy Michael and end his terror once and for all. Jamie Lee Curtis said, “Laurie has a more relevant role in this movie than she has had before in any of the other franchise installments.” Sophomore Tessa Thiry said “The Halloween movies sometimes have a bad rep but I like them during the spooky season. I’m actually really excited!” “Halloween” is set to release on Oct. 19 and would be a great flick to see on Halloween night as the movie releases just in time.
